Asentinel's approach is one of managing the complete lifecycle of TEM. All functionality is resident in the "core system" - one Oracle platform and one application instance supports all functionality and modules. Further, all components are integrated in real-time. For example:

  • Provision a new circuit and the application concurrently creates and sends the service order to the vendor, establishes the inventory/asset in the database and updates the audit metrics in advance of the corresponding carrier invoice.
  • Update a vendor contract and the software updates all assets associated with that contract in real-time and applies the new contractual rate to the effected invoices.
  • When the application, via integration to the client's Human Resources system, discovers that an 'employee' with assets (i.e. wireless/blackberry device, calling card, DID) is no longer an 'active employee', the application raises the appropriate alerts so services can be cancelled, retrieved and/or redeployed.
  • Through integration to the client's AP/GL and/or Active Directory/LDAP system, the Asentinel application maintains all cost allocations and therefore maintains compliance that only charges from active cost centers/departments may be allocated.
