MEMPHIS, Tennessee, October 24, 2006 - David C. Perdue, CEO of telecom expense management firm Asentinel, was honored this week by the Memphis Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Assistants® (IAAP), as the 2006 Executive of the Year. Perdue was nominated by Sharon Gardner, executive assistant to the CEO at Asentinel and treasurer for the Memphis chapter of the IAAP®.

According to Gardner's nomination letter, Perdue's professional, civic and personal accomplishments make him an exemplary leader. Perdue's knack for hiring high-quality, skilled employees has been a major contributing factor to Asentinel's success, said Gardner.

"Without the support of successful and caring executives like David Perdue, we administrative assistants would not be able to continue to be at the top of our 'game,' providing executives with the latest and the best skills to keep their businesses running smoothly," said Kay Cullen, CPS/CAP, president of the Memphis Chapter of the IAAP.

The Memphis Chapter of the IAAP began the Executive of the Year award in 1980.
