Asentinel Expands International Presence;

Expansion Driven by Growth in Fortune 150, Fortune 500,
and Global 2000 Customers

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, June 19, 2006 - Asentinel, a global telecom expense management leader (TEM), announced today the expansion of the company's Romanian office to meet increased business needs. More world-class engineering talent will be added to meet the needs of the company's expanding customer base.

The majority of the engineers at the Romanian office are graduates of the University "Politehnica" in Bucharest, an institute that continuously ranks among the world's top technology universities.

The expanded European office joins Asentinel offices throughout the United States, including the company's headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.

In the first half of 2006, as in 2005, Asentinel experienced significant growth in both its customer base and its reputation as the expert in the field of TEM. The company has signed a number of new contracts, among them three Fortune 150 companies and significant additional penetration in the Fortune 500 and Global 2000.

Asentinel also has gained industry-wide acclaim for its partnerships and product/service innovation. Among the achievements in the past 18 months:

  • April 2006: Asentinel hosted the world's first telecom expense management user conference. The three-day forum resulted in a customer guided, state-of-the-art version of the software, Release 5.0.0, to be placed in production in early fall 2006.
  • January 2006: Asentinel launched its breakthrough Optical Invoice Recognition (OIR) technology. OIR gives customers the power to receive all of their telecom invoices electronically, even from vendors who are unable to provide electronic billing.
  • November 2005: Asentinel formed an industry-changing partnership with CA, one of the world's largest IT management software providers. Asentinel's TEM software is the first in the industry to be integrated into a major enterprise infrastructure management solution.
  • April 2005: Asentinel created the industry's first Worldwide Module and revealed it at an international conference in London. The Worldwide Module allows global corporations to automate, audit, process, provision and report on international telecom invoices.

"Asentinel understands the need to not only grow our business, but grow the TEM industry as a whole," said David C. Perdue, Asentinel CEO. "We've made a promise to our customers to stay ahead of industry trends, partner with the best companies and listen to how we can constantly improve our product to meet their needs. That's how we remain an industry leader."

Written in Java, the comprehensive Asentinel software package automates telecommunications business processes while optimizing performance and visibility - both of which are essential for forecasting and budgeting. Asentinel's highly scalable software package is flexible enough to grow with organizations of all sizes and fits into an enterprise's long-term monitoring, optimization and billing architecture. Asentinel handles the end-to-end TEM process; from receiving the service order through activation, invoicing, and inventory management. Asentinel's configurable workflow provides for review, cost allocation and approval of all invoices. In the long-term, clients' ongoing telecom expenses decline while internal processing time is also greatly reduced.

Asentinel's Web-based software has more than 50 cumulative years of development behind it. Asentinel continues to grow its list of Fortune 1000 companies and government entities that realize the power of automated telecom expense management.
