Asentinel Announces First User Conference for Telecom Expense Management

MEMPHIS, Tennessee, May 6, 2006 - Building on its solid reputation with some of the world's leading companies, Asentinel, a telecommunications expense management (TEM) company, will host the first users conference in the TEM industry, David C. Perdue, Asentinel CEO, announced today.

The Asentinel User Conference will be held in Memphis April 23-25 and will address TEM industry trends, best practices and practical applications of the Asentinel software. Asentinel will also use this opportunity to update customers on the latest enhancements to the application and reveal its technology roadmap for 2006.

"This conference is the first of its kind for the TEM industry," said Perdue. "We are looking forward to bringing together Asentinel's users and sharing lessons learned and best practices as they apply to TEM. Attendees will also gain valuable knowledge and insight from fellow users and Asentinel staff into how to best use the Asentinel application for optimum results."

Among the speakers will be Gartner Research vice president Eric Goodness, who will offer insight into the state of the TEM industry, as well his thoughts on the effectiveness of the Asentinel application.

"It makes sense that Asentinel, a company known for its effective product and solid rapport with customers, is the first to bring customers together to share best practices," said Perdue. "We are looking forward to learning and interacting with our customers during this conference - hearing their experiences with Asentinel will help us continue to grow to meet the needs of our customers and those of the industry."

In addition to keynote addresses from Goodness, Perdue and Asentinel VP of sales Richard Janis, Asentinel customers will also have the opportunity to participate in a focus group, the results of which will directly funnel into the finalization of Release 5.0.0, the next major release of the Asentinel application. Asentinel vice president of global support Cindy Wallace and chief software architect Jason Fisher will also offer their insight into the Asentinel product.

Other topics addressed throughout the conference will be Optical Invoice Recognition (OIR), Order Management, Tariff Auditing, Asset Management and Tax Opportunities.

Written in Java, the Asentinel software automates the process of telecom invoice management in real time, analyzing every invoice against vendor contracts, hidden costs, active inventory, and flagging every exception. Since these errors often reoccur each month and can go back for years, getting an expedient return on investment from Asentinel is not difficult. In the long term, clients' ongoing telecom expenses also decline while internal processing time is greatly reduced.

Asentinel's Web-based software has more than 50 cumulative years of development behind it. Asentinel continues to grow its list of Fortune 1000 companies and government entities that realize the power of automated telecom expense management.
