Position: Network Engineer

Location: Memphis, TN

Asentinel has developed and is continuing to further enhance its patent pending technologies. To qualify for this position, you must have a good working knowledge of technology and excellent problem solving skills.

What you will be doing:

• Support of existing servers, workstations, and network infrastructure.
• Implement new VPN tunnels to customers.
• Support and test existing disaster recovery procedures.
• Recommend enhancements that provide a strategic advantage.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
• Must have at least five years of experience as a full-time IT Engineer.
• Must have at least three years of experience in UNIX or Linux.
• Must have at least three years of experience in supporting firewalls and VPN tunnels.
• Knowledge of utilizing and deciphering packet sniffers.
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP and OSPF.
• Cisco certifications are desirable.
• Ability to multi-task continuously.
• Good communications and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work alone with a minimum of supervision, but be a team player.
• Intermediate analytical and problem solving skills that can be applied to solutions for business problems.
